Dr.DivX

The only official DivX converter.

The coding of any video to DivX is something that many programs do nowadays, but only Dr.DivX is developed by the same team that created and maintains the codec. This encoder doesn't support all the formats, only supporting the conversion between  MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VOB, AVI, FLV, MOV and MP4 to AVI encoded in DivX.

  With an interface that the most experienced will like, Dr.DivX allows the user to configure many of the aspects of both the video and the audio (MP3 or AC3) of the files that we want to convert. Even though it shows many options, the truth is that the vast majority are very intuitive and, per default, those that will yield a higher quality to the final process are activated.

  One of the advantages of Dr.DivX is that it is a product certified by DivX Inc., something that ensures that any file resulting from the conversion performed by it will work on all devices and players that have also been certified.

  Another feature worth highlighting is the option to program a batch of tasks, that will allow us to configure various conversions so that the program works automatically while we are elsewhere.
